Meet the OT
Hi! I’m Hayley Thompson, MOT, OTR/L, founder of Anchor & Rise Therapy Collective.
I’m a pediatric occupational therapist passionate about helping children build confidence, develop meaningful skills, and feel successful in their everyday lives. My goal is to create therapy experiences that are engaging, supportive, and individualized to each child’s unique strengths and needs.
My journey in occupational therapy began as an occupational therapy assistant in 2019 and has continued to grow through years of hands-on experience supporting children and families across a variety of developmental and functional needs. I earned my Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences and have dedicated my career to helping children thrive at home, in school, and within their communities.
I believe therapy works best when children feel connected, families feel supported, and progress is built through trust, collaboration, and meaningful relationships. My approach is strengths-based, family-centered, and focused on creating positive experiences that empower both children and caregivers.
Anchor & Rise Therapy Collective was created from a desire to provide thoughtful, personalized care for children and families throughout the Lake Norman area. I’m honored to support families through every step of their child’s journey.
